At Relationship Over Religion, we believe that faith is not about religious performance—it’s about a personal, transformative relationship with God. We are a non-denominational, Christ-centered movement committed to walking in love, living with purpose, and growing in truth.

Here’s what we stand on:

We believe in one God—eternal, all-powerful, and ever-present—who is Creator of all things. God is not distant or disconnected; He is deeply relational, personal, and actively involved in our lives.

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, who came to restore humanity through love, truth, and sacrifice. His life, death, and resurrection offer salvation, healing, and freedom to all who believe.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God—alive, relevant, and transformational. It’s not just ancient text, but the blueprint for a fulfilled, purpose-driven life in today’s world.

We believe no one is too broken, too far gone, or too imperfect to be used by God. Grace is the foundation of our faith, and we are committed to creating a space where people can grow without fear of being judged or excluded.

We believe spiritual growth happens best in real, honest, and loving community. We’re committed to walking together in faith—not just on Sundays—but in everyday life.

We believe the Holy Spirit lives within all believers, empowering us to walk in wisdom, love, and boldness. The Spirit guides, comforts, convicts, and equips us to live out God’s purpose for our lives.

We believe the Church is not confined to four walls or traditional structures. We are the Church—called to reflect God’s love in our homes, neighborhoods, social spaces, and across the world.

As a movement rooted in the Black community, we believe faith must also speak to healing historical trauma, dismantling spiritual gatekeeping, and affirming the God-given value of every life. We stand for justice, restoration, and unapologetic purpose.
